Great job on the fuel tank for me. I got it all cleaned out and tested welds look great. That is one less thing to worry about now, about 99 to go :eek:Would have been a lot nicer if that thing would have fit a little more tightly, but hey what do ya do. This Honda one we got fits a lot better, them domestic guys need to learn to fabricate better parts.
Btw, wtf you got this posted in run your mouth for? Trying to build some hype about your car that'll never run??

Fargo, this is how you are suppose to do a sump.
Thats not how you do it if you wanna run any classes other then outlaw, modified, or hot rod.
Rumor has it there is a midwest SFWD class this year but im guessing IDR will just overlook it and not even run the class.

weshole: I'll have the IRS for this year and then change it out over next winter. A dude from TX just ran a 1.29 60' on the IRS two days ago, and he is close to full weight.
Nick: I doubt I have to worry about classes especially around here. Besides, my car is probably not gonna be legal in a lot of other ways as well (powerglide, etc).

Yes, this is the powerglide bumped you out unless you wanna go race modified w/ Rau, hehe. I know we plan to travel this year w/ a few cars so we'rer trying to keep w/in spec, racing around here just isn't going anywhere, it'll be cool if they run that divisional class around here this year like their supposed too because each division winner takes a spot to the national finals race and it'd be fun just to even go.

Vroom. This is how you do a sump actually...

Thanks Tufte!

On Hondas the fuel level is in a seperate spot away from the stock pump assembly.
However, I have the stock pump assembly back in the tank without a pump in it. I am using the stock feed line as the return line now. -
Yep. -10 feed from the sump, I'm reducing to -8 after the pump. I'm not trying to make as much power as some of you fools.
