P2P software

shareaza mostly, sometimes limewire, sometimes kazaalite..sometimes all three

Shareaza is available at www.shareaza.com, comes w/ no spy/adware and searches gnutella, gnutella2 and e-donkey to find files and/or bit-torrents

also try winmx, I wouldn't touch kazaalite with a 10 foot pole since its extremely vunerable through port overflow attacks, and now through kazaalite batch scripts can be run completely remote to each and every computer. But that's just my personal opinion.
DEFINATELY bit torrent though.

cableone somehow caught me awhile ago when i was using shareaza...shut down my internet for 2 days and then let me back on...idk how they found out, but i know next time it'll be worse if it happens again...but the thing is, they got me for uploading, not downloading...idk, that whole situation was just fucked up
-
Anyone else use WinMx also? That's a good one.

bittorrent is bad. its easier to get caught using that than kazaa. i still just use kazaa lite. sherman networks (who made kazaa) sued the maker of kazaa lite for copyright junk, so they had to shut it down. your best bet is to search for kazaa lite resurrection, or download regular kazaa and get kazaa lite from that.
suprnova.org is a great site if you only use it once in a while, but its much easier to get in trouble.

P2P all have an equal chance of getting caught man, your IP address goes out whenever you connect to somebody, or get somebody downloading from you.
Whoop dee doo... cableone gives you a warning...

Silly kids. That's why you run a linux based OS backend with an apache client

I have never gotten a warning either. Bit Torrent is my friend.

a friend of mine got warned at his dorm a couple times. they told him to get rid of everything and bring his computer in so they could make sure it was gone. i just gave him one of my old hard drives that i never use, formatted it and installed a fresh (downloaded) copy of xp, and gave them that.
