yeah should be ok, i just ordered a stage 1 racing clutch for it, the clutch that was on there was pretty bad so i figured may as well replace it while i have the motor out, make it alot easier in the long run.

The FSZE wouldn't make sense for him to swap. It's the JDM version of the 2.0 4-cylinder DOHC engine and it's very difficult to do it properly. The ECU swap is said to be extremely difficult.

If kids dropping RB's into 240's and other random swaps in home garages a FSZE would not be out of reach. Wiring sucks but think of the ranodomness of the swap and also the rarity. If a LS1 can be dropped between the frame rails and function in a BMW 325 then fuck anything is possible.

Was there even a hint early on in this thread that he wanted a difficult engine swap which would be a downgrade? No.

well i started assembling the new engine, and decided to replace a few maintanence items like the water pump, but then i ran into a problem, the mfg put the wrong hub on the water pump so yea my pully would not bolt up so had to pull ha;f the motor apart again. the motor should be in today. i will post some pics later today

Let me know how that JDM motor runs. You bought the 2.5 V6 right? I think it has 205hp with 195lbs tq? Am i correct? I am planning on buying one for my 626. Let me know when you get it running, id like to check it out and maybe even ride in it.

Also, i am in a car forum that deals all about 626's and probes.

The KLZE is rated at 190-197 hp depending on the year, and 160 ft-lbs torque. It's only going to put out 190+ at the crank if it's in top condition, running on the JDM ECU, and it's running on high octane fuel.

yeah the wireing is all messed up on this car so today decided instead of trying to figure it out that i would try find a harness and i found one in GF at swanglers autoparts so that was pretty sweet, i had to go pull the harness out myself but that was ok it was a good thing to find one.
