Selling a car to a 16 year old.

Can I transfer a title to a 16 year old who bought my car, or do they have to be 18?

Good question, call the dmv and ask. But from what I remember you have to be 18 to have a vehicle in your name.

you would want to make sure that his parents are on the title to avoid legal headaches down thw road

^agreed. that why my jeep is still in my parents name. the 240's are in mine cuase i dont have inusrance on them cause none of them drive right now but the one my drive this weekend, and the other before f and f 3 to sell it

I bought a car at 16 and i had my name on the title so i dont think its a big deal.
