i can agree ihave a stage upgrade in my two speed Powerglide the shift is so smooth. somtimes though i do wish i had the TH350 for the that extra kick i second gear I would go with the powerglide -
With a v8 or even a 6cyl, I would go with a powerglide. But with only a 2.0 4cyl. I think that a three speed would better suit his needs. Alot better chance of being in the powerband all be it one extra shift. But it's alot less to worry about than the 5 speed he's used to. And no more missed shifts.
