I would look at all the abs/wheel sensors to make sure that there isnt a bad-broken wire or a partially disconnected plug.

Or you could do what i did and bring it into the school brake steering and suspension class and have them find out your HCM (hydraulic control module) is fried and that a new replacment costs $1900 😄

thats one expensive part. sorry thats what we found out..

check that your wires are not broke/no insulation that can be common as well as rusted conections

ABS isn't that important to me. I'm considering just ripping the whole system out, ive survived 2 years without it.

I don't know if I'd rip it all out. I would just unhook the fuse that powers it. Theres alot of plumbing involved in totally removing the whole abs sytem in most cars.

just pull the gauges and remove the bulb that powers that line and remove the electronics from all of those boxes in the engine bay

Its not that hard to get it diagnosis of it. The ABS system is one of the simplest systems out there that uses the light to inform you, like your engine but much easier, of what is going on. The codes in it are limited to a few areas which could help fix it. Go to one of th eparts stores and have them scan your light for you for free (or you can come and see me and have it diag at the same time for $15-30 depending on how long it would take), and let us know what the codes are, Ill be able to help try to lead you in the right area to head to.

typically when abs kicks in all the time there is a brake in the abs ring on one of the cv axles, this is the thing that looks like part of the outer axle hub kinda looks like a gear, this is what the wheel sensor reads to determin the wheel speed and when there is a brake in the ring it thinks the wheel just locked up and kicks the abs in, sometimes its easy to find just turn one of the wheels out grab the ring and see if it moves if it does its broke, check both front wheels, seen it couple of times on hondas

LIFE'S JOURNEY IS NOT TO ARRIVE AT THE GRAVE IN A WELL PRESERVED BODY, BUT RATHER TO SKID IN SIDEWAYS, TOTALLY WORN OUT, SHOUTING ' HOLY SHIT.....WHAT A RIDE'
