I actually don't think that car clubs are that bad of an idea. I was involved in one in Minot for a while that used to be fun, until every started moving away, and we stopped having events. If you're not going to do anything with it then there isn't a point. However, it's much easier to get recognition (which can be both positive and negative) when you're a car club. Like it Minot Northern Animation made a good name for itself, we always had lots of cars at the local car shows, and at the drags and stuff. All I'm saying is that if you guys are going to do it, actually host events, and have get togethers. If not, there is no point.

I see our "Clutch Victory" as more of a group of guys who hang out and work on our cars together. We're all good friends and we all have similar models and years of cars. I guess that's a car club, I mean, it doesn't have to be a gang or a bunch of street speeders.

well, tim and i were considering a club/team thing of guys that are devoted to achieving a goal with someone's car. for example, right now we're trying to find a 90-91 prelude, and once weather is nice(and tim has enough money)... we'll be working on tim's car. next step will be turboing the prelude, and perhaps another prelude with a simpler setup.
