For the regal. I'm putting duals on it. The stock muffler on the regal is extremely restrictive, especially for a FI car. Grand Prix mufflers flow much better, and will allow me to reduce some KR, allowing me to drop a pulley size.
Also, I can't find a single muffler out there that isn't extremely loud when it's with one of these engines. GP mufflers are relatively quiet. This is my DD, so I don't want it like the TA. The only one that sounds good are borlas, but the mufflers are $150 a peice, and I have a hard time spending that kind of cash for them. Plus, they are still pretty loud. At least for this car. I might just get them anyways, seems like getting GP mufflers is more of a hassle than I thought.
Also, they guy is giving me the mufflers for free, I doubt he'll want to go through the hassle of shipping them and receiving money for the shipping. I wouldn't.
