seat belt dates???

i looked at the scca website and i looked at the rules and it does say anyhting about dates on the belts or harnesses. and yeah is there anything wrong with fastening my upper shoulder straps to the back of my seat. i don't want to drill into my firwall and i want to be able to move my seat without the seat belts changing.
