it aint a tyte car if it aint a type R

Thats all I can say about this. Shits week.

O and you really shouldn't be driving 160mph, especailly after your "oil change" your friends were telling us the other night. like OMG we were just in the car doing 160. Boo Hoo, who gives a shit it goes 160. There are cars on that go that fast but why drive that fast? there is absolutly no point to drive that fast.

Never drove that fast but I have rode that fast. Yes, there is a point to it, its fucking insane and thats why people do it, but its also one of the easiest ways to stare death in the face, and probably the stupidest thing you could do with a motor vehicle.

yes, very stupid. case in point, i got up to 189mph in my GTO, it was scary as shit, but still stable enough for me to adjust the volume on the stereo! BTW, 189mph is right at 7200rpm in 5th gear, so once again, if this idiot is lurking on here, you have nothing on alot of us, been there, done that. LS1's really rip if you know what your doing with them.

Riding at 160 is staring death in the face?

At 200+ I still had the camera focused perfectly on the gauge cluster...

2JZ or not (No offense Dave, haha), Gary's car delivers power in quite a violent manner. Nobody should judge his car based off of his times at the track from this past Saturday. As I've said, I've ridden shotgun in a fair share of fast cars, and Gary's GN is one of my favorites thus far.

Trust me, going that fast is even dumber when you are a 18yo or what ever, with no experience behind the wheel. If you got caught going that fast you would be done for. With passangers you would be FUCKED! that is the only way to put it. If I was going to drive that fast, I would not let people with, because if something happened, I would not want to be responsible for it. The only person that should die from your stupidity of doing that is you.

^ same here. If you have a fast car doesnt mean you can drive it to it's maximum performance. You have to know your car, if you just jump in it you can't expect to know it's own little quirks. I've drove a hatch that was very fast, but I'd never been in it before and didn't know the way it behaves and I ran a shitty time. I never expect to jump in a car an expect to drive it perfectly, and I dont expect anyone else to either, even professional driver have to get used to the way a particular car acts. One of the most critical things in any type of race or driving is knowing the car you're in and driver skill, not always how fast it is.

And as the driving fast and stuff I never drive very fast or do certain things with any passengers or with other cars on the road. I would never want to put anyone else's life in danger, that's just plain stupid and wrong. When I am screwing around with my car I'll push it close to it's limit, but i'm not careless about it, I know what it can do and if there's any questioning it i'm not gonna risk it. One day this idiot will get what he deserves I just hope he doesnt take any innocent bystanders with him.

I would assume his friends poopra. You have to remember, he is a baser from GF. He is from GA so there is alot of differant cars and lot more modded ones.

And to mister i can not spell silvia right, a 05 GTO would murder a XLR. Maybe not if it was a V series.

200mph requires at minimum 500hp and a very low Cd. And what peice of roadway would you use to hit that speed? We're talking about probably 60 seconds of WOT acceleration to acheive that speed.

I don't think you'd see 200mph in a mkIV supra on less than 700hp. It's a big heavy car, and not tremendously slippery. Not that 700hp is a stretch for a 2JZ...
