Heavy, naturally aspriated, underpowered cast iron engine that can't rev above 8k without shitting itself unless the engine is built.

Comes in the 240SX, Maxima, and older Nissan hardbody trucks (carburated). Mine went kaboom. Faber's runs because it's built to take it.

Compared to the 4AGE that came in the car (assuming it was a GT-S instead of SR-5), the KA24DE is weak. It's another one of those Toyota motors that was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overengineered. The other chart toppers being the 3SGTE and 2JZ. I dunno, I'm not a fan of KA's by any means (Faber's car is nice, don't get me wrong) so I don't find the humor or understanding in swapping that motor into a lightweight car such as an AE85/6.

you can rev a KA past 8. and they can take 400hp stock.

And then they punch holes in the block and the rods say hello to the motor mounts and wheel wells, and the crank decides to chill out in the oil pan.

Come on Jon....you know that swapping a KA into the hachi is not a really good idea...it would be one thing if it were boosted...but it's not.
