Its a small select group who continue the BS and alweays cause the BS do you see everyone doing it? Moderate this fucker, get it on track and throw out the BS so we dont have to hear people complaining about how the board sucks, so we dont have to see people thread whoring, so we dont have to see EVERY topic get outta control and off topic. Then maybe some people will start posting, start contributing, and actually wanna be on here and actually may want to show up to some events, come to car shows, come to the track. But if were an out of state person i would be asking myself what kind of joke are these people, why the fuck would i wanna go there, and this is exactly why the dont come, i've had this conversation w/ a few buddies already.

Honestly, how the hell can you take kirks, joes, mynova's, flowcus's, or any other of these people who do the post whoring seriously.

If I lived in africa, and read this board, i'd seriously think that those people were the ones bringing shit off topic, i however, wouldn't say "why the fuck would i wanna go there, and this is exactly why the dont come" becuase of a few people.

Nick remember, the purpose of it was to have somewhere to meet people, we have jackshit for car shows, and the interstate dragways board is filled with just as much bullshit as fargostreet.

Just because fargostreet isnt what you want it to be doesnt mean that its going to change just for you or that you have to start a big fucking war like this with everyone else. Just keep it to yourself... fargostreet is probably the best representation of what life is in fargo... a bunch of bored people looking for something to do so they do the only thing there is... bullshit with each other.

If your looking for a car forum that talks nothing but cars... good luck finding it, and when you do make sure to come back here and tell us all about it. Because in my opinion that will be the 8th wonder of the world. Nothing will ever stay on topic in any forum because we being people are all opinionated, and most feel that they should be allowed to express that opinion.

So sorry if we dont want to visit a forum that doesnt allow us to express our opinions... I love fargostreet, and have met a few cool people on these boards that I can cruise with whenenver. I guess it just takes a complicated person to filter out all the clutter and bullshit that happens here.

Car Tech has plenty of "unwhored" threads in it. I dont go there mainly because its not my topic of interest. I like bullshitting with the guys on here, which is why I mainly post.

If you can sense that a thread is going to be whored, simply click out of it. You don't need a fuckin sign on every thread saying "This thread is whored, please leave."

This has been building for so long. Dont you ever notice it'll be me and Blake will both post about the drama in like every thread? DOes it ever change? No. Does it ever stop? No.

Nobody said anything about taking anyone seriously but it comes to a point where its just stupid and annoying. When you read every thread and you got people cocking off, ripping on everyone, post whoring, etc.. its just not even worth reading anymore and it seems half the people get some sort of enjoyment by ruining all the threads and bragging about being a post whore.

I routinly visit probably 5 boards where things stay perfectly on track and moderated. Go to some boards and try pull some of this BS there and see how long you last. WILL THE BULLSHIT EVER END!!! This is my $.02 and if you dont like it, BAN ME!!!

dont get me wrong i do my fair share of bsing but i am one of the people that have done somethin more serious with my car...i guess i just kind of like this forum because it has more of a laid back feel to it not so serious about staying on topic like were in a detention center...it has both sides of the scene...the bsing and the car techie part...

Ok, I'm gonna chime in on this too...

I go off-topic. There, I said it.
It would be more enjoyable if the OT posts stayed in the OT section.
I come here for both the drama (good for a laugh or two) and the tech (as little as there is)
It is hard sometimes to tell when someone is giving someone shit or if they are being serious. As a rule of thumb I assume everyone is giving someone else shit if in doubt.
There aren't enough projects going on in this town for everyone to be on topic all the time.
There are sites that do stay more on topic www.nasioc.com, www.wrxhackers.com are two that I can think of off the top of my head, I'm sure there are others that do as well BUT they are more in tune w/ a larger geographical area than one a town of what 150,000? (including suburbs...I dunno, just guessing there). They are probably in areas that are not so dominated by musclecars so there are more people w/ imports or sport compacts. It's hard to get it out of your head that there are more than 3 major car companies in the USA when you are brought up Ford/Dodge/Chevy...unfortunately some people never even give imports a chance around here because they are raised that way.
Like others have said, noone is forcing anyone to come to fargostreet.
Having said all of the above, it would be nice if this site would mature a bit.

How about some of you who dont thread whore anbd who actually use this board for useful information post up w/ your view on this and your $.02. Wes? Troy? Cartman? Tjamz? Dave? Matt?

I know Cartman and Troy run the Minot board and they seem to keep everything under control just fine.
