Removing Window Tint

you sohuld just be able to peel it off

You can also use some fine steel wool to scrub the glue off of the window. Make sure its either "000" or "0000" on the packaging.

that sounds like it should work for the glue crap underneath the color film but what can i do to get that off in one big strip?

Pull slowly and evenly.

let it sit in direct sun light for a pretty good amount of time first! when its warmed up it comes off way easier. hair dryer or a few hours in some bright sun will go a long way

Was bored and reading around caught this one had to take the nice faded scratched purple off of my teg when i bought it 2 people 4 hours and no more rear defrost so much fun.

His window tint is really really old and is not going to come of in 1 piece based on the way the other tint was coming off the side windows. and if it does come off, it will ruin the defrosters as you pull it off. I had similar problems and just swapped the glass out of the hatch. on the others. paint and decal remover worked amazing when the windows were out. other then that its lots of hard work.
