Non car people respect issues

It should have nothing to do with what make, model, or year of car somebody drives, it about respecting other peoples property no matter how much somebody else thinks it's a POS or not, if the owner owns a POS I'm sure there fully aware that they drive a POS, it's still "there" car. If I wanna go outside and jump up and down on the hood, roof, and trunk of my own car that my perogative but for someone else, a total stranger at that, is pure bullshit.
You should've ripped out there nappy dreds and strangled all them non-bathing, non-deoderant using hippy tree huggers.

Same thing here...sad thing is a lot of the shit wrong with my car is because of FRIENDS. They aren't car people so lots of times they'll be playing hack with a soccer ball and it'll fly into my car and scuff the paint up. Or my neighbor and her friends chalked the shit out of my car 2 years ago in mid desert-heat July, including the paint, and it baked for a day because I couldn't wash it off til after work and they also managed to put 2 nice deep scratches in the paint with the zippers on their clothes. Then another one of my friends who isn't the "lightest" or "smallest" person on earth leaned on my fender at Taco Bell and left a dent in the front left fender and bent it far enough that it rubbed on my door and the opening/closing of the door rubbed the paint off both parts and started to rust til I fixed that.
When all this shit happens I tell them to watch out and they just blow it off and say "who cares don't worry it's not that bad of a scratch/ding/dent/whatever" and I have to hold back from beating the living shit out of them right there. So yeah, I feel your pain, I fucking hate people.

you know what you are right and i agree with everything you just said.... but what is sad is that that is not the case, and no one gives a shit about cars mostly older somewhat rare cars like the one's me and you guys drive.
now with my comment earlier about a nice car getting you more respect on the StReEtZ!!!!!!! it is true, well to an extent... like if i see a new farrari i think "damn that is a nice car" or w/e... but if i see a crx with a loud exhaust ripping around i would say " what a ricer and laugh".... it shouldn't be this way but it is....

It'd be perfectly normal to think that. The difference between you and non "car people" though is that even though you might think the car is rice you'd still have enough respect not to ding it, jump on its hood, throw eggs on it, etc. There can still be and always will be the domestic vs import, ford vs chevy, honda vs toyota, whatever vs whatever quarrels while still maintaining respect for the vehicle itself. -
I had a kitten walk on my hood once and dented it, lol. I think these days not many people have respect for other's property whether its a car, house, etc. Just goes to show society is going to shit. I know if anyone fucked with my car, even though it's in crappy shape i'd still be very offended and probably have to kill them.

I've seen first hand, as I'm sure some of you have to, somebody get pissed off at another person for god knows what reason and instead of confronting the person they vandalize there car, that's just retarded, the act and the person doing it.
That's like getting pissed because somebody threw a burrito out there car window and caused you to crash your harley so you punt his dog off a bridge into the river below. It just doesn't solve anything. Unless well, your dog is actually alive and saves you from an impending bear attack, then it's only kinda solves a later problem.

If I ever did catch someone vandalizing my car and knew they had a nice car or one they were attached to at least then their act would open the doors for me to tear their car/house to pieces, otherwise a persons property is off limits.
