Official Release: $15,000 "Rock My Ride" Playmakers/tintmasters
-
I am going to start this over............. We have had too many people confused about what this is.
We are looking for any vehicle. Most think the vehicle has to be a big pile. We would prefer it to actually be in nice shape to start with. That means we get to spend more of the money to make it better not just the same.
Tintmasters and Playmakers are running a promotion. Its called "Rock my Ride"
What is going to happen is this:
You submit a picture of your vehicle. Write a short essay containing, why you should be chosen. That Friday for the week you enter, you go to the Venue (Planet Y) and bring your friends (Friday is 18+ night). You are going to vote by texting. The more friends you have there the better your chances. IF you are the weekly winner you will be put into the semi-finals. The last week a grand prize winner will be picked.
What we are going to do for modification is yet to be determined. We have to have a winner before we can say what will be done. But I can tell you this. Between Playmakers, ET Kreations and tintmasters. We are putting $15,000 into the winners ride. I will repeat that. ................................................... $15,000
Rims/ stereo/ paint/ tint/ interior/body kit/ etc.and who knows................. So I know there must be someone out there someplace who would like $15,000 worth of stuff put into their ride................. or maybe not!?!?!?
I want Playmakers to see this as a good investment. I would like to run one of these every summer.
send your picture and essay to: [email protected] Once I have it I will email you the official rules to let you know I have your entry.

Just out of curiosity, does the person who wins have any input on what is done to their car or is it a matter of TM picking/choosing the accessories? For example, the winner may want all performance parts and a couple suspension pieces, but TM wants to do body kit, HID, ICE...who gets the final say?
Don't take this as me being negative, I just was curious about the process is all, I think it is awesome that you guys are taking the lead and running with a project like this. My hat goes off to you guys.

If i read correctly on the playmakers site...it say the person has no say in what they do to the car.

The product used/installed will depend GREATLY on the final vehicle, as well as which vendors are willing to sponsor/donate product. Rules also state that we have 14 days from the announcement of the winner to complete installation, and have the car painted, so readily available product is very important.
