WTB Beater car

I've got a 2000 Dodge Stratus that needs tie rod ends, a door seal (ripped), a windshield (cracked), and a new key cylinder for the trunk that I'd let go pretty cheap... Trans was replaced about 15k miles ago or so. Runs great, wanders a bit when it drives due to the tie rod ends, and it has new tires. Its also throwing an EGR code but fuck who cares.

is that heath/torbs old one?No - I bought this one 3.5 years ago when I moved here from a guy in Michigan that I met via audiworld.com. Flew out 1 way, drove it back.
I bought a new Audi back in march since my wife and I were expecting our first kid in May.. (he's here now!). I wanted something with modern safety gear and more modern creature comforts (although this thing is 20 years old, its nicer than most stuff half its age. Thats German build quality for ya).
So my old winter beater is for sale -- 5 cars is at least 1 too many

I've been trying to unload it for a while, but not too hard, since I've been busy with other stuff. I just haven't had many people look at it b/c I haven't advertised it worth a damn.
It's the right car for this climate and for someone that doesn't mind turning a wrench once in a while. It's the wrong car for your mom or your wife.
I had it parked infront of the Green Mill for a day and got a few calls about it.. one guy was like "will you take payments". WTF... Yeah i'll take 1 payment of $1500, but that's not what he had in mind

Someone that makes unloading it easy on me (i.e. you don't waste my time and you show up with non-counterfit bills) can probably get a pretty good deal. Check ebay, KBB, and what other Audi's go for in this part of the country - $1500 ain't a bad price for a Quattro that has had a bunch of new parts put on it.
