i say he should boost it.That and wouldn't you think it would have been better to have a fiberglass body? or would it weight about the same?
you've got to take into consideration what he knows. He did the metal work himself and is obviously very good at it...

well no shit, i can see he knows what he is doing. But then again, maybe fiberglass would have been better. Seeming as now he knows that engine he is using n' all :rolleyes:Okay, a master metal fabricator is going to put aside his years of metal fab skills and try to lay down fiberglass.
Makes sense.
Yeah, maybe fiberglass would have been lighter. That also would have meant, most likely, outsourcing the build of the body.

yeah i was thinking the same thing. Dont get me wrong, its freakind sweet. But then its just like, why not buy an Atom? Same thing, almost cheaper.I'm not sure considering an Atom with all the options and goodies is in the $100K range. Being the metal fabricator he is I'm sure he's got connections, he probably got most if not all his material at cost.

one thing you need to realize is that ppl would rather "make" something then buy it.... do you not undestand that yet?
now about the aluminum body..... just read what dubbsy said as it makes sense.
now about the motor.... my guess is he is on a budget and a MaD tYTe JdM K20-R was not in the budget.... make sense yet?:icon_scratch:
