now why the fuck did you paint the rotors.... plus 1 for you doing the worst job of taping off the rotors i have EVER seen. also the last time i checked rotors get very hot and that paint will last all of 2 min...

Hey there n00b, it is a heat resistant paint and the pads will take off the small amount of paint on the rotor surface that I didn't clean off. The silver on the hub is anti-sieze.

High Temp paint lasts quite awhile actually. It also slows the buildup of rust.

a lot of OEM rotors come with a "protective paint coating" on the rotors to help dissipate the heat and protect from rust build up. you can try and remove it with brake clean and a cloth, but it isn't 100% necessary.
