I recently put a phone on e bay becaus ei dont need it anymore... I just had this ladie call me and was wondering if i would sell it out right to her because she doesnt want to go through the e bay procedure because she recently has her info stolen. She was wondering if she could send a money order for the phone etc... Is this a good idea??

could be a scam as well....sometimes they send fake money orders. Of course what happens is you cash them, deposit/take the money and your bank realizes a few days later that they money order isn't real and takes the money back out of your account, leaving you with no product and no money.

like i said, just make sure the money order is good.

money orders, or cashiers checks always say where they came from and have a phone number, alls you gotta do is call and make sure its legit, pretty simple.

i do a lot on ebay and that definatly sounds like a scam to me

That happens quite often.. Some people just don't like going through the eBay or PayPal thing. Like was said, just make sure it is a good money order before sending anything.

One time I got a money order that I thought was going to be fake. I opened a new account at a new bank, and cashed all but the require $300 or whatever. Then walked. When they called me to get the money back I told them to stick it. There was no legal action taken.
