some help with crome/moates products?

ive been messing with crome now for a few months and im somewhat familiar with the program but have yet to try and modify or make my own maps. i got my chip burner and my hulog data logger yetserday and yea....i cant get any of it to work on my computer. theres alot of settings and things you have to change with your computer and i dont think im doing those right.

Im just wondering if theres someone on here that has used it a little more that could maybe give me a walk through or at least get it to work with my computer. ANY help would be greatly appreciated

Check www.xenocron.com and homemadeturbo.com . I think xenocron.com can sell you a base map, and tons of people use Crome on HMT.

yea i know about xenocron and HMT and im pretty sure i can handle tuning it to the point i need it at right now. i just cant get the actual software to work. im computer retarded with all these settings and cables and what not. it would just help to have someone walk me through how to use it.

It is a bitch to get it to connect, it took me awhile, but im retarded with computers, i just had to get the right port working for my USB cable and then make sure the settings are right. You can mess around with it and test connection until you get it to connect. Also make sure that you have added that device(when you hook up the USB, it will ask you to add the progra or whatever).

Yea, give me a call whenever if you still have my number. I don't currently use any of it, but i will be probably be using it eventually so im not going to sell it just to buy another one in a little bit. You could probably use it, and i would help you start tuning if you need help (not that im an expert but i have done it a little so i know the basics i guess.)

alright well damn it i still cant figure this out. i have been messing with settings and things on my computer all afternoon and from the writeups im doing everything correctly. its just still will not work. i dont get it. its giving me all kinda of crazy pop-up warnings and shit now. someones gotta know what this is all about.
