You talk pretty big for a guy who's parents pay for everything he has. Unlike you, I work for what I have. I can only do one thing at a time. Also, my car isn't stock. There isn't a whole helluva lot done to it, but it isn't stock.
People wanna talk shit, let them talk shit. Whatever there. Don't really care anymore. Finally, i have same size tires all around. My diff is doing just fine.

People are to stupid to do research before they talk, they get jealous of people then start talking shit. I can tell you first hand he's working for all the stuff he's doing to his car as i sign his paychecks and turns around and buys the parts.

Who the fuck cares if someones parents buy them the parts/cars? I work for everything I have but I guarantee you this..... If I had parents that wanted to help me with my hobby, maybe even partake themselves in it, then I'd be all over it!!!!! Get over your jealous shit!!!!

I'm not jealous by any means. I'm just sick of the shit talking. I know I said that I didn't care anymore. But I'm just fed up. There is no reason for it. I have done nothing to wrong anyone. I honestly don't understand why people are hating on me so hard.
If anyone wants to reply to this one and give me some answers I would appreciate it.
And no Will, I'm not going to go cry or hang myself.

I love it when people give matt shit for his 'parents buying him everything' its like your telling me if your parents helped you out you'd be like "naw, i have pride. Poor people have way more respect and pride" der
Matt works for everything that he has done to his car, its not like he's putting a sweet intake on his car and running around saying ITS NOT STOCK! :icon_thumleft:

My $.02:
-Dont list it as an EX just cause you swapped a EX motor in it, the car is a DX!
-150 compression is not VERY STRONG for a 9:1 motor.
-Salvage is SALVAGE
-You list no scammers but your ad is partially a scam claiming a EX int he title and that your a mechanic that has performed all the labor. Mechanics are trained/qualified technicians not garage wrenchers.Secondly i believe the track is open this weekend, street legal event. why dont you all go battle out your 14 sec war there rather then on the forums??
I stated in the ad that the car is a DX shell (so there's nothing being hidden...it was the first thing stated in the ad)
I put EX because of the motor, moonroof, and power windows that are in it...I know a lot of people avoid DX's when searching for cars simply because it has less power along with less options. I put EX to attract the people that look at ads this way.
Also, compression testers seemingly vary depending on the brand, etc (i've seen a couple different numbers on the same motor with different compression testers...by different numbers I mean 20-30psi, unless this is something that doesn't occur very often?...just going by personal experience). I can assure that the motor runs/feels strong (as strong as a stock D can feel in a coupe).
I put prior salvage in the ad because that's what is on the title.
I consider anybody that does quite a bit of things to a car a mechanic. Example: I considered matt a mechanic 2+ years ago when he was doing quite a bit to cars...swapping out clutches, motors, axles, t-belts, etc. That's just my opinion on the word "mechanic." To me, a tech. is somebody who has had professional training, etc...therefore i would never consider myself a tech. In other words, I think fargostreet itself has quite a few "mechanics", but few actual techs.BTW, it's 16 second cars thank you very much

And just for you John (darkelvis): I became a mechanic (IMO obviously) when I bought a few cars that either A. didn't run, B. ran like ass, or C. ran good but had other problems and made them run well again...I'll prolly get flamed for thinking what I am, but whatever...not like that'd be anything new.
EDIT: checked dictionary.com for all of you who like doing that out there...an automotive mechanic is simply somebody who works on cars, whereas a technician may have some training...look it up to see for yourself...so, if one goes by the dictionary, it seems as though I did interpret the difference between a mechanic and technician correctly.

It seems to me that compression numbers shouldn't vary that much between brands. You should be able to look in the factory service manual, and see the range of acceptable numbers and how far they should vary between cylinders to be within spec. If an instrument has to measure numbers to a specification, it has to be accurate within a certain tolerance. Even the cheap stuff from harbor frieght is expected to measure within a stated tolerance, as accurately as something from craftsman or anything else. When I say tolerance im talking + or - like 5psi or less, not 20. Just what I know.
I guess it could also depend on if the adapter on the tester is sealed to the plug hole, and if the method being used to test is the same each time and is the method used in the manual to get the reference numbers.
blah blah blah
blah...
ugh,
oh sweet, im a mechanic!
