I think youll find that will be a pretty worthless idea. Alot of the people who own (z32 especially) z's are kinda stuck up assholes. Also there isnt too many around in the first place. If you arent already, log on to z31performance.com and register the forums. also jason (the head of z31performance) is really smart and even markets a number of unique products that are very worthwhile. But, if your a member of z31.com, i pity you as the people on that forum are pretty much retarded.
On a side note, you ever decide what your gonna do with that thing? If you want some help just ask.

I'd go to www.300zxforums.com and go through the for sale stuff. I doubt you will find much for a z31 though. Zs in general are hard to find parts for. Also check ebay from time to time for random stuff.

just buy the filter and put it in the stock location, no need to buy a kit for it

It's not that easy. I dunno how a Z31 is but I had to buy the HKS kit. If you don't I guess you could just duct tape it to the end of the MAF if your realy jenky.

You'd probably have more luck trying to create a 'Z car' club, and encompass all generations, IMO.
