there is only certain spots. If you get a media pass, you can shoot from where ever you want, you have to were a vest...... and sign all these wavers. I might be able to get ahold of one for next year. not sure yet.

I used a canon PS S3IS. Only messing around i did was put it on burst and less exposure time so i could take pics faster.

cool. a friend of mine from Bemidji was there 2 yrs ago and said he had issues getting good pics due to the number of people in the allowed areas to watch from. he shoots with a canon digital rebel. he is not into cars, but still enjoyed watching the crazyness.

ya, he also was one of the instructors at BIR when we went there on the 16th. all he changes is the rims and tires. He is really nice. I emailed him all the pics we got. He got 1st place for 2wd at the rally IIRC
