there is only certain spots. If you get a media pass, you can shoot from where ever you want, you have to were a vest...... and sign all these wavers. I might be able to get ahold of one for next year. not sure yet.
I used a canon PS S3IS. Only messing around i did was put it on burst and less exposure time so i could take pics faster.

cool. a friend of mine from Bemidji was there 2 yrs ago and said he had issues getting good pics due to the number of people in the allowed areas to watch from. he shoots with a canon digital rebel. he is not into cars, but still enjoyed watching the crazyness.

I got alot of good pics. I just got there, and moved my way to the front.

they had some good pics in that link. and a couple of them i saw me and faber and the others from fargo that were with us.
