Looks fairly violent to me. Videos just don't do launches justice.

not doubting the violent launch at all. just saying the vid did not show it as it could have been or was....

wonder what it would take to mount a camcorder in a car to really experience it? this way no extra weight besides the few ounces of the camcorder and whatever to mount it to.

I just took my camcorder and duct taped the tripod to the rollbar and it turned out pretty good. I like the wisp of tire smoke coming inside the car in the video. I guess I could've made a grunting sound when I launched.
I think this 60ft was in the 1.30's.

guess i need to put a roll bar in my car before next street legal. ;o)

i also do not know if i would have the cool smoke coming in the vents on my car.....

u can get camera mounts that would mount to your rear window/body/roof.... with suction cups. they work great. I do not know if IDR would allow on exterior. But they stick good. My friends stayed on at 130mph corners at BIR

I was sitting right there (if you look hard, you can see me in the vid!) It looked like someone rear ended him at launch.
