It would appear that Toyota has changed quality control.... FJ Cruisers are breaking welds on the frame with minimal off road, and the truck in this video looks like it is about to fall apart... I still won't buy domestic, but certainly won't be buying a Toyota...

In the past, I've been bias towards GM. But after seeing that, the Ford owned the other two. At least it looked to be the most stable.

Damn. I read quite a few articles on the FJ and they all said it was unexpectedly good off-road.

I have always hated ford and pro GM. But I would buy a Ford over anything right now. Ford has turned things around big time. Some of it has to do with Mazda help but the Ford franchise stole a pile of quality awards from toyota this year. This only impresses me more. Now they just have to change their commercials. The one with the pickup lifting the semi over it with a cable is ridiculous. Anyone who has taking a physics class knows that is just a pulley system. If you rigged up enough pulleys I could lift a semi.

My thoughts exactly. The new GM trucks have a horrible ride, I'll take mine anyday over a new one. Ford has came a long way though. As for the Toyota, I understand you have to have some flex so stuff doesn't break, but that was ridiculous.

Must be the stronger bolts and extra leaf springs in that Ford...
