I have downloaded DVD X copy platinum off of bearshare and it tells me I need an activation. I know someone here knows how to get around it. I says it's a cracked version.

We've come to the point where no extraordinary preformance can occur without the presumption that someone has cheated.

I'll second DVDShrink if you want to copy a movie. If you simply want to rip a DVD to iso for playing from hard drive try http://www.dvddecrypter.com/. This combined with http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/portal.php works nice. Also look on the daemon tools site for a cd ripper that will rip copy protected cd's. I love this for Sim City 4 because I no longer need to dig up the cd to play the game.

i agree there...with that program you can get rid of unwanted junk that will compromise the quality of the burned copy....extra features and stuff like that.

I use Nero to Burn DVDs. Works great. I just make an ISO with DVD Decrpyt. Then Use Deamon to "mount" it. Then Use Nero to Burn...works everytime.
Nero also lets you delete crap like extra features and what not. I think the actually prog is a add-on to Nero, called Nero VisionExpress 2. I have also done DivX/Xvid to DVD with it...also works good for that.

DVD Shrink rocks. Thanks Jim. I suggest everyone goes to best buy right now that doesn't already have one and buy a DVD burner. Internal Dual layer 16x Cyber Home with Nero Express 6 for 90 bucks minus the the 40 dollars rebate for a whopping total of 50 bucks. I got a bunch of best buy gift cards and so I put them to use, and will get 40 bucks cash back. Bump to Best Buy(for once)

Windows media player will do that if you set it to!

I suggest a 16x Plextor single layer DVD Drive, out performs all of the competition. Dual Layer disks are to damn expensive, and the burning is to slow STILL to endorse it yet..

Nobody wants to pay 10-20 dollars a pop, and then wait @ 2.4x for 8gb to burn.
