Hey, I need some help tuning the decel air on my afc neo in my 240. I have no idea what I am doing. lol, no instructions on how to actually know what to adjust were included, just told me how to change them. I swapped to a differant ECU and tune today, and I am having some more issues then before and would like to get this setup, didnt need it before.

    PM me for:
    Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
    Diesel repairs or performance products.

i don't know much about it but i have the afc-II and i had to get a wide-band o2 gauge and look at the afr's to adjust the fuel mapping. you can look online for some base setting for the 240 setup they might be somewhere. you also have to set the low thr % and high thr %. i think mine are at 20% and 80%. and also put in the car info which you prob already did but yeah. But i don't know exactly what to run for afr's. not going to mention any name but certain people in fargo won't even tell you what they run for afr's for some reason. good luck

no its for those of us with un-recic'd BOV.

afc 2 to afc NEO is completely differant, if I had a afc 2 it would be a differant story.

I can see why people will not tell you what they are/say you should run for afrs. That is to cover thier butts from people doing it and blowing shit up.

It is a bit more "advanced". More places to change things....... It also does not have a knock sensor reading. Has 16 points for adjusment. But with the NEO, it uses your first 2 adjustment points as the RPM levels for the affects of the decel air. My first to points are 800 and 1200, and by the time i get that low, car floods out. I just tried moving those points to 1000 and 1500 and it has helped but not much.

I guess the decel air setting is more for maf cars them map cars. It cheats the signal to the ecu to take out alot of fuel when in what ever% you want it to and below, like for cars with atm. BOV and a MAF. You blow off, air exits system that has already been measured by your maf. This air missing from the system will cause it to run extremely rich. The decel air setting is suppose to correct this so your car doesnt die while coasting..... or throttle revs while not in gear.
