Speaking of Witness

I'd let him know my opinion untill he hit me or something. Take one for the team bitches, earn some college money.

For sure, the kid just asked if he was allowed to park there and what he did wrong and the cop started freaking out.
-
The kids attitude wasn't the greatest, the situation wouldn't have even happened I bet if he would have just been curteous with yes/no sirs. Think about it...the area has lots of auto break ins/thefts so the cop was doing his job in seeing what the kid was up to. The kid, instead of just saying "just parking here" decides to say "why did I do something wrong/why do you care/whatever it was he said" which escalates the situation.
Either way the cops a dickfuck and should be fired and sued.
EDIT: Just saw this on CNN. Sounds like the kid has had several run ins with the police. He had 3rd degree assault charges on him for assaulting an off duty police officer. He has several videos and he seems kinda arrogant to the PD in all of them. I'm sure this could be a case of the station is sick of the kids shit and this cops already short fuse gets totally destroyed when he pulls him over.

The charges against him were dropped.
The kid hasn't done anything wrong. Cops are trained to deal with assholes. Cops are not trained to think they are above the law and that they are god with a gun; some of them just seem to learn that on their own. Either way, that's what's going on with this one, and he needs to be reprimanded severely.
The kid had the "audacity" to ask why the cop was detaining him. He further had the "gall" to try and assert a few of his rights -- rights that a bunch of other Americans died to secure. He's absolutely commendable for not being in a hurry to answer questions the cop has no business asking.
When you go along with police fishing expeditions and answer stupid questions that cops have no business asking, you're pissing on Thomas Jefferon's grave, and all of the people that died in revolutionary war. Don't do that.
It's important to be respectful of officers as humans. It's also important to respect yourself and the constitution. Don't bend over and enable power-trip cops to think they're above you and the law.
