the new ipod!

has anyone checked out the the new iPod touch? I'm making this thread on it right now and I think its about the sweetest thing ever. I think im buying it

I saw them on apples website. It's pretty much an iphone without the phone. I'ts pretty cool but for $400(even with wifi capability) I'd expect more than 16gigs of storage space

I think my next one is gonna be the 160gig classic.

Yeah too bad it's only 8 or 16 gigs, I'll probably go with a 80gb classic since my 4th gen finally quit working.

yeah the weak storage capacity kinda sucks but its still pretty sweet. and being as vzw cant use the iphone this might be kinda cool. i just hope they dont have the same problems with this that they did with the iphone

The Touch Ipod is probably the coolest thing ever. I'll be pre ordering one, since I haven't ever had an Ipod and its about damn time.

It must be luck of the draw with ipods when they quit working. My 1st gen nano is still going strong, I've also got a 5th gen 30gig video, I love that thing. I want the 160gig for the extra space so I can use it like an external hard drive.

There's ways to fix that problem when they quit. Open it up tap the hard drive a few times and about 60-70% of the time they'll start working again. They get sticky after time, kind of like heads on a VCR, and a little nudge is all it takes to get them going again. People are buying the bad ones off of ebay(frowning face icon) super cheap, fixing them and reselling them.

nope...but wait i think i can hook up my mp3 player and put music on it from any computer... no need to have "software" downloaded onto the computer that you can only download to one computer...
