Ever sold a car and regret it?

Probably my 91 Prelude Si...but the engine was shot...and I had the choice of a car I didnt know would make it or one I knew would, so instead I kept driving my regal. Also, my 87 D-50 2wd...wanted to make a mini-truck outa it and either a 360 or a conquest swap in it, my dad sold it...i've been trying to get it back lately.

It was a base model when I got it. 6cyl manual drum brakes all around. A real pig let me tell you. But I did alot to that car. It was last equipped with a 468ci with a performer Rpm intake, mild port work on some oval port heads, with an M21 close ratio(no rockcrusher), Hurst V-gate shifter. Hays 12" clutch, 12 bolt w/4:56.1 gears. I NEVER should have sold it. I lost my ass on that one. Never ran it at the strip. It was such a tire smoker though. WIDETRACK SR's FTL!!! Probably woulda never got past the mid 13's as it sat if that. With traction and some suspension, I may have been able to get low 12's outa it. MAY HAVE! Purely speculation. It was a powerhouse though. I really miss bigblock torque.

Big Blocks sound so mean, I love it. I love the sound of old big block equipped Mopars especially, but all big blocks are mean. I regretted selling my 1993 Ford Probe base model purely because it was my first car, I put it through hell and it never let me down, it was fun but so slow....

(probably cause its based on a mazda) the damn thing runs and drives like new! 220,000 miles on it with the origional clutch! the only special treatment it has ever gotten is mobil 1.

Mine was an auto, but either way it never gave me trouble. I used the cheapest oil I could buy in it, ran it on cheap gas and it ran well all the time. I had it for 35k and it was awesome.

I got a registered letter from an impound lot yesterday saying they have my old 85 accord. Kid who was supposedly buying it moved and changed his phone number, so I have no way of contacting him, and hadn't seen the car since maybe June. Car was towed two months ago and the storage fee is almost $850. I went to look at it today - and it started up on the first try, after two months of sitting. That car is invincible. Except they're going to crush it, since I'm not paying for storage. That rusty pile of shit was almost as good a friend as the dog we had when I was growing up.
Anybody knows Dustin Huber, let me know. He owes me a few hundred bucks and a fucking explanation.

I miss my jetta because of the heated seats and the switch blade key.:)this is a little off topic, but my buddy has a 2000 audi a4 1.8t with 75,000 mi (pretty much a fancy v dub) nice looking car. mechanically a peice of shit. he has had it in the valley imports shop so many times. (4 times this year!) and everytime it gets fixed something else goes wrong. the latest prob was a mass air sensor, got that replaced and now his light is on again!!! abs controller!
