i don't know... drop a 60-1 into a 2300lb car (a little weight reduction and you could get to 2300 w/driver), run 10psi and your lt1 would be in the rear view in short order... from a roll (add slicks and lsd if going from a stop)
lol!......I have a hard time beleiving that. I would love to race one of those from a roll.

Or even better, at a dead stop.

      This makes me giggle.

tall gearing imposes a lot of load, so i think it wouldn't be too hard for it to spool by 5k in low gears.
all it needs is 2-250 to walk on an lt1...

....you must not know much about his car

edit...spooly by 5k leaves you less then 1krpm to make power....

In a saturn with a red line of about 6500 rpms, it wouldn't work, unless you had a ton of work so the motor and valve train would rev higher.

Also, I have ~500 crank hp and ~ 580 crank lb ft of Tq. There would be no walkin unless he would be walkin backwards.

sorry, i forgot that you have stuff done besides the headers that were posted recently; i rescind my statement about walking you... but an average lt1 wouldn't be hard.
actually... redline is 5500 with the 1.9 sohc. in the lower gears, boost would be pretty late in coming on, on the highway would be bit quicker. if it were an a/t, it would help more because then it wouldn't lose boost. how long the auto tranny would hold up is another matter

I know you've already said you're not going to mod, and keep trying to get a new car.... i/h/e just really isn't worth it... lots of money for the 5-8whp you're probably get out of it.
