Ok. I have some electrical problems on my 96 taurus. I want them fixed as this has been a great car and it is my backup car. I have had this car since new, it was a ford program car so we got it with 1700 miles on it in 95. Here are the problems. Its windows and interior lights dont work. All fuses are getting power and none are blown. It was in an accident and the passenger door is off a 97, the car has lights in the doors(courtesy lights) but the 97 does not have this wired into the door, i dont think it would be the problem as that circuit isnt complete if the bulb blows. the wiring in the door also seems to match up but i could be wrong. If anyone has any idea what it could be since all the fuses are good and the system before the fuses are good, let me know. I do not know where it goes from the fuses, but i do know that the relays are good too, all new. I just want to know what components could be bad and where the wiring goes AFTER the fuses and relays.

alright, i know it is the accessory module, but cant remember the true name of it, it is located under the dash and need a diagram to figure out the real name so i can find a new one. I found out this is a common problem with these cars. lmk if you know the name or have a diagram.

it is what the fuse block bolts to under the dash to be exact on the location...

well i got the rest of the car to work... but the door is so messed up on the other side, wiring wise. Here are the two plugs, car and door... 3 wires do not match up. so i need i wiring diagram for a 96 and 97

First off, the 97 door, extra grounds may be due to it not being wired for a light...

                     1 2 3 4

            A White Purple Grn/Red Grn/Prp

            B Black(1) Red/Blue Wht/Yel Pink/Yel

            C Pink/Wht Pink/Grn Wht/Black(2) Yellow

            D Prp/Red Black Wht/Grn Black(3)

Now the 96 car.... Mirror image due to how they connect...

                      4 3 2 1

            A Grn/Prp Grn/Red Purple White

            B Pink/Yel Wht/Yel Red/Blue Prp/Grn(1)

            C Yellow Wht/Prp(2) Pink/Grn Pink/White

            D Prp/Grn(3) Wht/Grn Black Prp/Red

Purple/Green i believe is for the light, so if i remove the 2 extra grounds that will sovle that problem, but i dont know about the match up between #2(Wht/prp+Wht/Black). All other lights and windows now work.
