Poker, wtf

All TV shows are becoming shit.
Now that all the writers are on strike you won't be seeing new episodes of anything but reality TV now too...
The same question could be posed about channels like MTV...what do REAL WORLD, ROAD RULES, A SHOT AT LOVE WITH TILA TEQUILA, THE HILLS, etc. have to do with "music television"???

poker is not a sport. neither is golf, billiards, or bowling. those are all leisure activities and if they really need to be on tv, they should make a channel solely for those.
mtv has gone down hill since its inception. they made mtv2 just to get all the people to shut up about them not playing music, but now they dont even play music on mtv2 either. im suprised they havent created an mtv3, but that would end up doing the exact same thing.

pokers funny to watch on espn. norman chad has some funny one liners

Altho I don't care for watching pool, golf or bowling... I think I would classify them as sports. At least they have a ball and/or stick, and you throw or whack stuff. Playing cards you sit there at a table and... well....you play cards. Maybe we should ask ESPN to start a new program called the world series of Old Maid.
I agree with the analogy on MTV. MTV is now a pitiful waste of air time, with a video or two shown once in a while (at least I think they still show video's once in a while?).

i personally don't see how poker is exciting to watch.I don't know if its even the exciting aspect that people watch it for. It's to learn playing styles, odds, etc.... And no, it is not a sport.

The only poker that should be on TV is strip poker on the playboy channel. I don't know if it exists, but if not it should.

It was on regular cable though so it wasn't that great. It was on the same channel that had "Son of the Beach" or whatever that show was.
