          Apparently "tuners" can't spell either.

Thier you go another Diffrence So Tune your car right or dont tune it at all

Some of the tuner cars in those videos were about as rice as the ones they called ricers. The comedian was funny as hell though.

Some of those mustangs in the second vid were not rice at all. That capri with the purple stripes was sweeet.

I liked the comedian, but the rest was shit. Apparently you need an FD, R34, or Supra if you want to be a tuner. You might get by with an s2k or an NSX... maybe. I think part of the spirit of tuning is taking something that wouldn't normally be considered a sports car and making it run and handle better. Maybe I'm wrong. I liked the little red escort GT, my friend from high school had one of those.

totally agree with you. and a lot of the cars they had in the videos under "rice" were pretty much just making fun of ricers. People don't duct-tape cardboard spoilers on because they think it makes them look high-performance, they do it to make a stupid point. Wish I had a picture of the civic with the tach that went all the way to 12.. and kept going around.. yeah.. it was a wall clock.

I rattle-canned my accord to cover up all the rust I had ground off and primed over.. and it covered shit up pretty well. Got called a ricer for it a couple times. once by a kid in a cavalier with a body kit and fart can. ah, hypocrisy.

or if I'm wrong.. soon as I get my hands on a 2nd gen prelude.. I won't be tuning it, I'll just be ricing it. Rather have a fun-to-beat-on, cheap-to-work-on 25-year old car than a shiny pull-me-over "tuner" any day.
