That does look good, riding dirt bike in the winter without studs is crazy. I crashed so many times when i tried to take mine out. I mite do that to my bike since my rear tire is shot anyways.

You prolly want to get a new tire and do it so you have the most amount of rubber on the lugs you can get. Otherwise, the screws might go through and hit the tube.

It's great on snowy parking lots and fields. I was in some lots that hadn't been plowed, so there was a good 4-8 inches of snow, and it went right through them.

On ice....it sucks. Not enough screws to make it work.

If you really want to have fun, back in the day i made a bracket and mounted up a plastic snowmobile ski on the front. Then i put a 10-paddle sand tire on the back. This was on a CR250 and i could do 70mph in snow. I built it just to ride on the river and it was fun as hell since you had to flat track it whenever you turned.

LOL That is cool. i used to ride my honda 250 fourstroke in the winter all the time without traction aids, and like a nut none the less. it was a blast, i went over the handlebars once in a big hard drift. other than that i dont remember ever wiping out hard. now the yammi 175 2 stroker, YIKES, tried that once, never again lol uncontrollable once the power band is hit. 🙂
