where did people learn to drive?

im driving west on 32nd ave. s. this morning at about 35-40mph, same speed all the other traffic was going..
then ahead i see this lady sitting in the middle part of the road waiting to turn west from the dominoes pizza area over by hornbachers.... and she starts nudging out a little then stops.. im in the left lane by the way... so she waits till im about 50 feet away before she pulls out onto the fucking road.
at this moment im just like you gotta be fucking kidding me, so i tried stopping as fast as my car would let me, she looks like she is turning into the left lane so i swerve to the right, then she takes a really wide left turn and takes up both lanes while turning, and appears to be headed to the right. so i merged left again and she went straight infront of me.
i came within 3 feet of her SUV, before i slowed down enough to not hit her... then i drove by her honked and flipped her off, and she gave me the... what the hell did i do...look!!!
ya know, we live in a state where its winter like 5 or 6 months.... you would think that people would fucking learn how to drive in it.... ugh, shit like this just pisses me off.
i also heard a rumor that there were like 38 wrecks with standstill objects in the past couple days or something.... people are just plain stupid.

I still haven't gotten over last winter when it took me over a minute to get over the I-94 West to I-29 North on/offramp. 8MPH on the interstate brought me to the brink of blowing my brains out...

i recommend not driving when and where other people do

also, avoid the routes taken by the usual idiots. anything in bizzarro fargo (that's west of 25th street, and along 13th ave S and south of 13th ave) is going to be awful.... 13th, 32nd, 42nd..
my wife and I do everything we can to avoid taking 13th on the weekends... too many lethargic and inattentive drivers.
the southwest part of town is where you see lots of strip malls and people driving luxury SUVs, which as i've mentioned before, are nearly the exclusive pasture of the stupid. avoid these problem areas of town, if possible.

One could say that you should have been traveling slower in these slippery conditions in order to be prepared should someone pull out in front like that...There is erring on the side of caution and then there is retardation. People shouldn't have to live life with a "I have to plan everything around all the fucking idiots surrounding me" attitude or mindset.

I think the idiot population increases 100000000000 fold after the first snowfall. Can someone explain why traffic moves at 5mph every morning on I-94?Easy...because EVERY morning that there is snow/ice there is at least 1 or 2 people in the ditch who were traveling too fast (sometimes still well below the posted limits....saw it this morning...dude slid into ditch in a fwd Buick while going about 35-40 mph...his ass end whipped around on him w/ zero warning) So everyone behind him taps their brakes...Say I slow down 5 mph, the guy behind me slows 7mph, guy behind him slows 10mph, etc, etc, etc... next thing you know, traffic stops damn near.

I drive 60,000+ every year, and have for the past 7 years with zero accidents. I leave 5 minutes earlier than normal when I go places around town in bad weather conditions and very seldom am late. 5 minutes of my time isn't worth getting pissed off over.

You can still plan on being around other idiots and not have to be a complete retard in the process.

Was it the light blue 80s pos that was on the 29 north onramp from 94?Btw- lady+oversized luxary suv= trouble.
Not bad to look at though

Its like every time it snows their brains reset and they suddenly don't remember how they got around last year. Thank god I work nights and don't have to deal with that BS anymore I94 westbound at 8 am was hell the last couple of years. Even if its a little slick you dont need to do 35, just pay attention and slow down a little 20 mph under the speed limit is a hazard to others just as much as 20 mph over is. If the roads are not that bad, and i constanly test them with my right foot:D, I'm doing 40-45 by the time i get to the bottom of the exit, if not faster. if I hit the interstate and you're doing 20mph under the limit, because your a moron and dont realize the roads arent that bad, you are a hazard to me and i will then want nothing more than to see you slide off into the ditch because you drive like a drunk 3 year old.

The last time it snowed, one punk high school kid in a beat up Civic tried to race me on ice down 42nd st.
Last week, some lady in a huge Excursion tried to pull a U turn on 32nd ave with traffic coming at her less than 100 yards away. Apparently, she thought her giant truck had the turning radius of a small car. She made it half way before she hit the far curb and blocked traffic, had to back up, and finish turning.

Some guy in an blue Expedition almost hit me when I was driving to Target the other day, didn't even look or stop at the stop sign, I sped up otherwise he would have nailed my door.
