A episode on airline said if you get food and some water/pop into your body. That cancels some of the "beer" in your body out. After acouple of hours. They had some pretty hammered people on that show. About to get borded they refuse them and told them to get some food and water. When it got time for them to part the airplane they were pretty sober.

thats cause food soaks up your alcohol...thats why a lot of people eat crackers or bread when they drink
