"Alienware curved display rocks Crysis at 2880 x 900"

Damnnnnnnn... "The curvature of the 2880 x 900 rez screen mimics peripheral vision, and in action the performance seemed pretty flawless to our Crysis-dazzled eyes (official specs report less than .02-millisecond response time)."

I don't have a need for a monitor like that and would never consider purchasing one. I was just curious as to what there going to cost.

I didn't get the 30" yet, debating if a 1080p LCD would be the way to go...

IC, My dad just bought a 19" widescreen. for his 6+ year old desktop. Everything is SOOO distorted. He needs to get on downloading the drivers so he can get differant resolution. Or just buy a new tower.

One of my friends has a Sony 37" LCD he got From RAC. He plays a lot of online FPS and flight sims and it's pretty kick ass. If I had the bucks I go that route myself.

The alienware screen is pretty badass but for a bad ass tower you should check out Voodoo PC. If you got an extra $19-20K laying around and just don't know what to do with it, hit those guys up.

Sterling Archer: No Cyril! When they're dead they're just hookers!

WoW!!! You could build yourself a really nice system, but it would cost as much as some new cars...

Jim, Go with a 1080i, that is what im using on mine, my surfing and movie screen is hooked on a hdmi input @ 1080i, while my gaming and fps screen is hooked up through a vga input on the same tv. the only thing i found with the hdmi input is no matter what you do most games wont play full screen, hence the vga port, on the vga port you can still get some crazy resolution settings and run full screen while gaming.

                            That is badass for sure

I use a 22" LG LCD 1080p TV for my TV and Comp. Monitor...... works like a million bucks,

I need a better Vid card to take advantage of anything for the computer graphics though

i would still go with....making it yourself...if your THAT hardcore about playing games on your computer then you would be an idiot to pay someone 5K for something you know is worth 1k to build yourself.

not necessarily, 1080i shows more detail than 720p for a stationary shot, while 720p works better with action
