Well that's the same with any major add-on though.... but purchasing intake, exhaust, headers specifically built for a NA setup isn't going to make much power.

If you bought a turbo kit, the intake would be totally different, there would be no "header" per se, and the exhaust would be most likely 3/4 of inch bigger.

For nitrous, you'd be looking at using I / E / H, so if you go that route, its fine to buy those.

          Not really crap loads:

~ $50 shipped for a cold air intake

          ~ $110 shipped for headers

          ~ $250 shipped for 2.5inch cat-back

This is for the 2.2l 4cyl right?

I guess what I'm saying is that, yes you prob will be able to notice a difference in power, but its not going to be anything amazing or heart stopping. Up to you if its worth it...

When your talking about basic things like exhaust, and intake, there is basically NO difference between name-brand and off-brand products in terms of power gains (talkign about just basic bolt ons here)

An intake is going to function exactly the same, if you buy the $25 dollar ebay one, or the $400 dollar AEM one, the gains will still be small!

There's only so much air that can be sucked in at once, and the intake pipe isn't going to make a difference.

It's the same thing with cat-back and headers... the point being, they are meant to be less restrictive then stock! You'd be HARD pressed to find any difference in an ebay header compared to a name brand one... why? the ebay people copy the designs of name brand ones, produce them in taiwan for considerabley cheaper prices, don't have to pay for R&D, and whore them out!

As I said before, the gains are going to be small no matter what you bolt on, there's only so much to be gained from putting on a intake pipe, and bolting on headers and exhaust. Say that there is a potential 5hp gain (or more, 5hp to be freed up) from the exhaust, its not going to matter wheater it was acomplished by a name brand or offbrand becuase there was only 5hp available to free up!

i have limited experience with them, but i've heard that underdrive pullies can make a world of difference... because of how they make power (reducing parasitic loss) they would be your best mod, cost-wise

Theres a guy that put a turbo on a 2.2 liter accord and pulled 14s with it. Its the one that advanced autowerx did. Its very slow

save for turbo, all you get is noise w/ intake and header

Its an h22 in an accord the kid he has not came up with the rest of the cash to make it right.
I would save for a turbo if you want to make some power.

It really depends on what you want out of the car. What are your expectations...how much (time and money) are you willing to spend?
