I'm looking for some good, nonbranded (generic) racing seats for the civic. Anybody know of anyplace besides ebay to get some?

Black is fine, or with red stitching. New or used is fine, stains I can deal with, holes and burns not so much. T

he stock seats that came with the civic are in nice shape, but they are light grey, and don't really match the rest of the interior, which is black/dark grey (im sure you've all seen the inside of an EF), and seat covers look ghetto unless you spend the bucks for nice ones (tailored fit).

So if you know of any place local, internet, a friend, a friend of a friend, whatever, to get decent seats, let me know.

Something like this would be nice, no logos or branding or anything, looks pretty good, cloth not PVC or anything.

I have black megan racing seats. They are for sale. But do not have pics of them yet.

The cheap seats suck like the ones at the parts store. The megans are the best I have had. I just don't need them in my Daily(came in it).

How much would you like for them? I actually did look at some of the autoparts store ones, APC and Tenzo. Good lord, for the prices they want for them, you'd think APC and the like had become respectable brands! A friend of mine in wisconsin has a set of generic seats much like the ones I posted above, they have an awesome spoon sports logo tho, which is tight ( haha ), I actually like them pretty well although I can imagine the foam would flatten out for some nice numb butt on long drives.

For sure, I'll have to take a look. I'm also looking for Si seats as an alternative but nobody wants to ship them that i've found.

My wife wouldn't have it. I thought some buckets would be cool because when I'm driving I sit upright anyway so I don't need to lay back for any reason. Her arguement is that the back seat will be inaccessible. I was like wtf one when are you going to be in the back seat, two why the hell do you care if other people have trouble getting in the back, and three stop being such a girl. I lost of course.

^lol! Bucket seats......... I might get a kirkly race seat and swap it in for autox and shit.

Other then that, I have a hard time finding a seat that will fit me, and fit in my car, with out my head being perpendicular to the roof.

For 299 you get two seats with sliders. Seams like the best ones ive found and they look like they are pretty good quality.

expect to spend around $100 as a reasonable price for a aftermarket seat bracket. Check out ebay. Thats the cheapest you will find them.

The don't come with the bracket. They come with universal sliders(go between the seat and the bracket and allow seat to move front to back).
Like every other seat, except those that are meant to be solid mounted.

Shouldnt be too hard...u can find them on other forums and ebay pretty often... Or just do a racing seat for driver and si seat for passenger... I know lots of ppl that do this and it looks fine...
