is that set up as "air filter, adapter, resonator, air intake hose" right now? if that box is just a resonator, get it the hell out of there. it's just space, weight, and obstruction. plus it'd get the filter off the coolant hose. if it's just an air resonator.
plus you'll probably notice a difference in sound.
