Why should you give a shit what other people think about "Your" car any ways. Fuck 'em, if it's fast it's fast and if it's slow it's slow, whoopie fucking doo if some body is faster than you. There's always somebody out there that will be faster than you are no matter how fast you think you are.

Im not at all talking shit, Im not even telling them that my car will be fast, I was telling them that a 4 cylinder EVO would waste a muscle car and they were the ones who started on my car and all that, I just told them it isnt ready, that I need to do work...and as for the 15's I doubt any car out here can run that....So you see?....not me talking shit, I am telling them that it is not ready yet, I am saying that they are wrong about the whole idea of "rice burners" lots are fast...they think ALL are slow, I am determined this summer (or the next) to prove to them that it isnt.
as for an LS1.....uh.....not on my budget.....lol

I have found that the best argument for being "fast" comes down to application. What determines "fast"? Quarter mile? Half mile? Autocross? Road course? Top speed?
I had a friend with a big block swapped Chevelle straight up tell me that with his transmission and gearing, combined with his older car and suspension and weight, that he would fear my Miata in certain situations.
So what is fast?
