I've heard you can just die in your sleep. I dunno I guess. My freind had the same deal done. I guess it's horrible pulling the 18 feet of cotton out of your nose.

its when your sleeping and your throat weights enough that it will close on itself. More commonly found in overweight people. OR just google it??

man that sucks...but isn't sleep apnea also cured by just wearing this piece of head wear to bed too instead of surgery?

It can be corrected by wearing a cpap machine but my pressure is so high that I cant sleep with it on and I get no results from it

my sleep apnea is so bad that I stop breathing 118 times per hour, every time I stop breathing my heart takes a extra beat and I have a history in my family of bad hearts. During my sleep study I would stop breathing for 28 secs at a time and my body would never get any rest at night and would always be tired. When my heart beats a extra beat it can change the beat pattern and stop and then I would die in my sleep like Reggie White did

Removing the packing out of my head was like giving birth to a Rhino twice

                ROFL @ birthing a Rhino.

Have you healed up enough to tell if the surgery helped?

Man, that definitely doesn't sound like fun. Hopefully it all works good after it's healed up. I guess it will be worth it if it does.

                    🙂

My fiance is a nurse up at the sleep clinic. She either hooked you up or read your graphs. She has a deviated septum and has to go in for surgery in april, She is dreading it. Best of luck to you man, take your time recovering.

my family and deviated septums.. and i suddenly realized today is one of those rare days when I can breathe through both nostrils. so something's going right. I'll be up for the same surgery when I finally save enough to pay for it. One of the other guys at work is going through it at the end of this month, taking two weeks off for recovery.. absolutely not going to be long enough.

Good luck on a fast recovery, man.

just watched the move "Awake" last night. Good movie, but not if your going to have surgery in the near future.
