My dad and I are rebuilding our lawnmower and we took it apart and it has gouges inside (where the piston is) so we are going to have it bored out...anyone know a good cheap source?...by the way, it only has one piston, its a small 8 horse engine.

I forget where we had it done, but there was a place in the cities that was able to bore out our block. We did it just for shits and giggles. You might want to look into simply replacing the motor depending on how much the machine work costs and how much free time you have. I can't imagine a 8hp motor is all that expensive.
