We painted a car ( The VTEC waggon with neon's if you guys rember it from Fargostreet meets ) Flat black in one night, it took.
10 cans of primer
15 cans of black paint
4 cans of clear coat <-Don't useThat came to $65 bucks
Oh yeah and if I were going to do it again, I would get some good "tips" for the spay cans. And I would also buy the plastic can holders so your hand doesn't get so tired.

i would go with how they are now because if you dont spend the 200 now you could spend it on go fast parts, plus if it looks like shit people will think there is nothing under the hood.

There is nothign under the hood... LOL(yes I know about "your turbo kit" your getting) -
do you even know who i am??? cus you know a turbo on the corsica would be sweet with that broken head bolt, i mean it might run like a 17 with a turbo, who told i was getting a turbo? and when

too much money and i realized that you couldnt drive it daily. plus i go to a high school where every one hates imports and love trucks and like to vadalize cars and not be carefull around them. I am goin to paoint it flat black for now and once im done with school i will have enough for a good paint job.

i was just stating that who would put a turbo on a corsica especially when there is a broken head bolt, im no t sure if the turbo remark was directed to me but i think it was becasue i am the one that said to save for go fast part and that is what he was talking about

If ya got the money and the engine is strong, why not??? Something different to do... Come on; who'd dare brag that they got beat by a corsica.. HAHA -
a show car is why cheaper then a race car in the long run anyway. a show car u dont go to the track go down the strip once brake somthing and then ur almost back to step one look at all the dsm's in fargo how many runs do they get in a summer?
theres no way if u paint it urslef is it going to look half as cool as that hatch in the pic.there is a such thing as a pro flat black paint job
one last thing i talk to u alot about cars and u say that ur goign to do all this stuff ur slef there arnt that many pimp cars that come out of a 17 year olds garage. im not ragging on u or insulting u at all. im just stating the facts -
maybe you should get the facts straight before you start talking. That guy with the hatch used Krylon spray paint to paint his hatch. Also did you notice that IM NOT BUILDING A SHOW CAR. READ THE ENTIRE THREAD BEFORE YOU START TO RAG ON SOMEONE. Plus you have to realize i do know what im doing when it comes to cars. its not hard to bolt up a header, bolt up an exhaust, or do all the other shit the only thing i wouldnt do my self is a good professional paint job. Or anything that i dont have the tools for or any machining.

Oh ya. Spoolude. I have done all the work on my car except for installing the coil overs. I did all the work on my Z except for getting the tranny rebuilt (automatic). Wich does include quite a bit of motor work. I have also rebuilt a motor in a 78 Jeep CJ7 so spoolude dont even start with me. I take shit like this very personally.
