Now Hiring: Fire Alarm Tech's
-
The company I work for is currently seeking a fire alarm inspector/technician. Previous experience preferred, but not required. MUST have an understanding of electronics including diagnosis of circuits to determine faults/grounds. Job responsibilities will be to install and diagnose fire alarm systems, suppression systems, hand held extinguishers, etc... This is NOT a job for someone not looking to stay clean...there will be dusty/greasy/dirty environments. You will be threading pipe some days as part of the suppression side of the business. You will learn skills that will help you advance within the industry. Pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and knowledge. I'm NOT the person that sets salaries, but I would suspect that starting wages are $12/hr+ for entry level personnel and more with experience with a good possibility for overtime.
FULL TIME ONLY, WE ARE NOT SEEKING TEMPORARY OR SEASONAL WORKERS.

No one is biting? All you have to do is be reliable and know how to use a multimeter. I assure you that, even though this is a relatively low starting wage, there are plenty of opportunities for growth within the industry. I started at $12/hour and currently am doing significantly better than that (over 4x that actually) and I've only been in the industry for 7 years...and I'm on the low end of the pay scale for sales.

Do you have to be NICET certified?
-
Not required for hiring, but you will get paid more if you have NICET certification of course.

I may be interested. What are the hours usually?
It's been quite a long time since I've used a multimeter so I'm a little rusty as to what is what.
Please PM me with contact information and/or where to go to apply.
Thanks.
