Here are some pics of the fish I caught on south lida using 8lb test and an orange rapala..

I caught about 8-10 large mouth bass 15''-18'' long, 2 wallagators, 1 sunfish. that are not pictured.

I believe the big fish in the picture is a Sucker fish that weighs about 25lbs.

The "buffalo fish" is part of the Sucker family. How do you figure it's not big?
          oh and....I let it go.

How many rock bass did you have to throw back before the good ones?
Lida has been very good to me over the years, gramps used to live on the north side by lida shores. Just west of the sunken island is a good spot, I don't get out there much so I can give out some of the secret spots.

i didn't catch any rock bass. Most were caught in Venstrom, a lake connected to south lida. It can only be accessed by very small boats.

Like Brandon said, that is small for a buffalo. I have caught quite a few over 20lbs. Not trying to discount that you caught a pile of fish but, I wouldnt have posted a pic of that fish without showing the "after I smashed its head in" pic. Besides.... they make great fertilizer.
