Ok I got it and every thing works perfect! People do this, its soooooo worth the money!
Jim I have some questions:

1. How do I use the NES roms? I know you said somthing about switching HD's to my E drive but I'm not sure how to do that.

2. FF6 is the Japanese copy how can I change that to a american copy?
   Can I bun a cd and download it on the HD or what should I do? I only have a mac and I'm not sure if there is a program out there to let X-box's talk to macs.

From the Evo X Dashboard (Main Screen):

1. Go to Apps
2. Select FCE
3. "Select Games"
4. Hit the blue button (x) a few times until you get to main drive listing: (ex. C:\ D:\ E:, etc..)
5. Select the E:\ drive and press the green button.
6. Select the folder: NES ROMS
7. choose the game you want and hit the green button.
8. select any settings you want and hit the "b" button to launch!

Seems complicated, but its not, you can book mark your favorite games and then from there on out, just select from your favorites.

The xbox supports FTP:

IP: 192.168.0.3
User: xbox
Pass: xbox

You can FTP in and upload new roms or games.

FF6 english should be there if not, i'll do some searching around and send it on over to you (you can stick it on a cd or whatever you want)

you could get a mod chip for it.. but i really dont think theres any way of doing it like jim does since it doesnt have a hd. maybe im wrong?

mod chip or swap disk.

swap disk is you just put it in, it prompts you to eject and put in the burned game.

I have a copy of FF6 and some other SNES games that it does not have on my HD. So I can just burn a CD and import them on to the hard drive?

And what is mini-linix for? I know its a OS but what can I use it for?

You need to adjust the settings of the screen positioning.

If your tv can do it, or there are software settings in Evo X

jsut to let everybody know he was having problems with the image being larger then his screen slightly so he coudlnt see the text at the bottom

Fixed, once your in Snes9x you have to click down on the right thumb stick then you get options. Its in the options.

It was not my Tv.

Jim I have two people who want the works done to there xbox. Also one of them wanted a larger HD so that he could store xbox games on it. I told him that you might not want to try that but I would ask.

Oh yeah is there anyway to get a playstation 1 emultor for my xbox so that I can put in a ps1 cd and play it? They make them for PC and Mac so I assume they might have one for xbox or Mini-linix.

I can do the larger harddrive, but it will void his warranty if he has one.

There is a playstation emulator for Xbox, but you have to rip the games to the Harddrive you can't just play them from the cd (something having to do with the Xbox dvd player).

correct me if I'm wrong, but the emulator is Bleam and only works on PS1 games, correct?

you could actually buy bleem online for a while.. but last i heard sony shut them down. i use ePSXe for ps1 games on my comp. it works fairly well.

About the ps1 emulator, how much would you charge to put that on my xbox and to rip some of my fav game for ps1?
