Bah...$6k is not uncommon in the least....and not necessarily all that loud. The right $1k system will walk all over (SPL wise) many $6k systems. The $6k will more than likely sound better though...depending on setup.

Set up included: 5 12in type R's, with 5 vpower 1000w amps, 5 10in type R's, with 5 vpower 500w amps, 4 Caps, 2 240 pioneer 6x9's, factory door speakers, cd player was a pioneer also. Forgot what it was called, pretty sure if I look around for the box I'll post it online. Had a custom layout for the subs, amps, caps, neons. It wasn't 6k, it was aroud 5,700. I just rounded it off to 6k.

My NA layout is being done by Install Pros here in EGF. Im just going with the basic, 2 12inch subs, Jack Hammer maybe(im getting rid of my w7), with jl amps.
